The Official Hub for All Things Icelandic in Aotearoa New Zealand
Our Mission
The Snorri Society New Zealand is an eclectic group of individuals whose aim is to promote the Icelandic language and foster interest in Icelandic culture. We plan to offer a wide-ranging programme of events soon. Since the Society is still in its early formative stages, only time will tell how successful it can become. These events will involve plenty of discussion in both Icelandic and English.
Our Partners
We have links to other Icelandic organisations and institutions in New Zealand and the world, and we encourage all interested parties to participate in our diverse events. In addition, we work closely with the Honorary Consulate of Iceland in Nelson and the Goethe Society Wellington.
